The plastic planetary gear IMS.22 Eco proved most suitable for the particular requirements. “The gear drives the longitudinal movement of the slats by means of a revolving belt and must be infinitely adjustable”, Brugger explains. “It is installed in the blind strip, obviously with very little installation space. And of course, the operation has to be particularly silent as the vertical blind is installed indoors where you don’t need any disturbing noise.
